thanks Kathie, that looks cool too, but I am intrigued by the roomba because if I didn't have to physically do it I would probable vacuum every day intead of waiting until it needs to be done. The roomba can be programed to vacuum at a certain time of day. It goes out and does it's thing and then returns to it's base when it's done. How cool is that? then all you have to do is empty the dirt thing...I guess even that can become a chore....lol The have one for mopping floors too but I am not sure how that would work.

my one friend who has one is the pickiest person I know. She is sorta like Bree from desperate housewives(not all the sordid parts) but if she recommends something then it has to be good. I would have never considered it before she told me about it but now I am really thinking about getting one. I would keep it downstairs and if it would do all the rooms I might never see those dust bunnies again!!!! I will keep you posted. there is one with a scheduler so I could set it to run every day, and when it's done it would return to it's base. If you use it upstairs it has a sensor so it won't go down the stairs.

I think my dog would get used to it...I got my hubby an R2D2 robot and it walks around and talks and stuff. Riley barked like crazy at it at first and then gave up. He would like to bite my regular vacuum but I think this one he might get used to....or I hope he would
