Hi there
I've been gone for a while, I guess most of my post hyst problems (I thought) were sufficiently "better" ha ha.
Well I have a new prob. My blood pressure is sky high. its 142/104 and I do need to lose weight, but my diet is good and I'm running around constantly and recently lost ten pounds, and still my blood pressure is horrible.
I read in a book by Elizabeth Plourde (Hysterectomy and Ovary Removal) that its because the uterus produces a chemical that helps regulate blood pressure and even if you keep your ovaries (I have mine) that your bp can stay high.
She says that what helped her was a supplement called CoQ10 -
Have any of you tried this? Its over the counter, appears safe, but just wondering.
Thanks
Lily
