Sis is 19 and a half and I am 15. She is having a hystorectomy as I type this. She is my only sibling and her name is Hope. Since I am a guy I have no idea what she is feeling or anything. I can't even pronounce the name of what she had done, what they did was take everything, her uterus, her tubes and her cervix. They had to do an operation and the doctor told me that it was the tradtional way, through the abdomin. The reason that she had a hystorectomy was something that started with an E (I can't remeber the exact word) so the good news is that she doesn't have cancer. I know that she is sad because now she can't have kids. I went with her to all of her doctors appointments and I held her hand went into the operating room and I wil be there when she wakes up. We don't have any parents because they left us (we live with our aunt and uncle). I really want to help her through all this, but I have no clue what she is feeling. I want to show her that I am there for her, that I always will be, that I think she is so brave for what she is going through, that to me, she is the same sister she always was and that I still think that she is the most beautiful girl in the world and I love her. Any advice/tips on how I can show this and make it easier for her would be really helpful.

to Hyster Home. I hope everything went well with your sister. I hope she will join us when she gets back. Tell her to rest up. Endometriosis is a very painful disease so she should feel so much better after she is recovered.
.. I am sure she will do well with her surgery...It is a long recovery...so be patient with her ...and make sure to tell her to stop by and see us when she feels better........
