I had partial vag hyst on Aug 5 and I am having slight lower back pain. It's not horrible...i can tolerate it...it's just a little uncomfortable and
only when I am up and around for a while. I ended up with a cuff infection (where they removed and stitched the cervix) and I thought it may be from
that....but who knows. I did a search for lower back pain and realized it seems to be common. I had a tummy tuck in Sept and did a 100 mile bike ride in
June...so my abs are in great shape so...

I just started this journey and I have found that there seems to be a lot of choices. So far the doctor that I have seen has told me that Laparoscopic-assisted Vaginal (LAVH) is what I should have. Leave the ovaries and take my uterus and cervix. (I am going to get a second and third opinion) Then I look on line and others say that the Total Abdominal or "traditional" is the best? I have uterine prolapse on top of other issues.
I had a complete hysterectomy on Oct. 1. I had my uterus and ovaries removed because I had 2 bigger than baseball size tumors and some smaller ones removed. For about the past 8 weeks it feels like I have a tampon in and it's ready to fall out. I've also had a pain on the left side of my incision that feels like I have a burning knife stuck in me. Any idea what can cause this? I am 48 years old and I didn't have any problems before I had this.
