about 9-10months ago my mother had a total hysterectomy (ovaries removed) at the age of 48, for alittle over a month she couldnt barely eat or drink because of nausia.

You probably remember me from having a super cervical hyst on 3/3 (removed uterus and I kept cervix & ovaries).

My question is I started to have intercourse after my 6 weeks and everything has been fine. Although, every 28 days when my period used to start on those same days I bleed (very light blood) but almost where I could wear a tampon especially after I have intercourse on those days.

So sorry that I haven't posted sooner. I had a TAH on 3/16/06. It has been slow gowing for me because I developed pneumonia in the hospital and 3 weeks after surgery one of my well meaning relatives gave me the flu - thought I was dying.

Feeling better now that I can get up and around - and that I asked my relatives to stay away!
